Voting for 5 finalists in Ultimate Thailand Explorer competition closes today!

The semifinal round of voting was a huge success; over 65,000 votes were cast to select the five finalists in the Ultimate Thailand Explorer competition. Throughout nearly one month of campaigning, the 25 semifinalist teams engaged in a lively dialogue with the 1,200 fans on the UTE Facebook website, where the competitors posted supporting videos, photos, and links to their personal blogs. While many semifinalists produced outstanding evidence of their ability to publicize both themselves and Thailand, the voters are just hours away from selected the five finalists who will travel to Thailand on December 9 to compete for the grand prize:

As we prepare to extend our congratulations to our finalists, we also thank all our applicants and other supporters for participating in, following, and assisting us with this exciting event.

The finalists will soon start designing their itineraries and will soon thereafter begin posting on their official UTE blogs. You can watch them as they prepare for their big trip and on December 1, you may begin voting for the winner of the Ultimate Thailand Explorers.
