I have sinned...

Today i went for a McDonalds....
Now that i have confessed, back onto my update...
Left Phuket and got onto the overnight bus where i paid extra for the toilet and air con bus...spoiling myself and all that...not that i got much sleep as was next to someone who snored and although normally i can sleep like a log (As many of you know)...for some bizarre reason i could just not get comfy.
Finally made it to my hostel and well...although it had amazing reviews i just did not like it, the guy working there was friendly enough even though tired after working all night...it just didn't have the thai hospitality feel but more of a cloggy/smoky feel...now i am not normally affected by smokers but there was just this smell and clammyness in the lounge area that i was not keen on and well first impressions counted and i could just not like it there. So on my first night i decided i had to leave...
Spent many baht (1baht per minute (0.62...ok not even a penny per minute)) to research new hostels and some that i would seem keen on i would find bad reviews and well....oh the confusion after not wanting to spend another night in a perhaps worst hostel. Well by luck i came across a random hostel website and found the hostel that i am staying at now

and went with fate and it is really nice, i had to pay for a more expensive dorm tonight as the 10bed dorm is booked up but could have moved to that one tomorrow, the girls downstairs are really nice and have just come up to me and said i can spend same price as 10bed dorm to stay in the dorm that i am in (8 bed dorm) so that i don't have to move all my stuff... Met some girls here earlier and they are planning to head out later to explore, they arrived in Thailand yesterday so hopefully meeting up with them later to explore the town.
Explored the main road that i am near earlier for a few hours...every shop/restaurant/bar/transport option seems to be on this main street...not that i am shopping yet but an option for when i re-enter bangkok for some christmas shopping before i go home...
Hope everyone is well and i will update as soon as possible, this place has free internet (breakfast also included) so i can probably update regularly while i am hiding from the bangkok heat/traffic/people...well city life in general.
