Arrived in2 bangkok airport from an 11hr flight! Arrived to be greeted by misurable rain!
Got in2 a taxi, the man didnt ava clue where he was going. After Pointing to the Telephone number of the hotel we were staying at about 5 times he surrendered into calling them for directions.. turns out we went down the right road about 3 times...
Got to r guest house after being waved down by the guest house owner, we were staying at a palce called amarin inn.. about 10minutes walk from Ko san road.. The man that owned the guest house was Friendly, very helpful and welcoming... after being introduced to our new little home for the next 3 nights The room had all we needed, Air con, fridge TV from some good movies on it.. Which cost about 8 pound a night. Then we went to explore what bangkok had to offer..
Found Ko san road by mistake, didnt relise how close it was. A street Full of people, neon lights, music street stores and off course suit shops... U from london, Lovely gubbly... ( what the suit shop Reps say to all english people). Tuk
Tuks always Buzzing around like a rash.. Everyone wanting your money.. With one women trying to sell us a hammock.. knowing we didnt have any where to hang it.. we still almost bought because we felt a lil sorry for her.. and she knocked the price down about 5 times.. Also had one man asking if we wanted to go to a Ping Pong show.. haaa!!
Found A nice lil street store selling very good pad thai and spring rolls with a dribble of sweet chilli sauce. Very Yummy.. Then went for a couple Beers which were pretty cheap only costing 80Bhats For a 660ml Bottle...
On our travels we saw a lot of homeless people. Most of them being very old men.. Gave one man Some money not alot about 10 Bhats but it was like he won the lottery!!!

Awoke late in the morning due to jet lag.. Raining again!.. To get ready and go off to Ko san road to Get some breakfast, Couldnt find a street store to eat from because of the rain so went to a resturant on our travels there we were collared by
a TukTuk driver to take us on a tour of bangkok for 20Bhats.. we said we needed to get something to eat 1st so they said it was okay becuase they will wait.. In the resturant Kirsty had a Banana pancake and i had a cheese n ham toastie.. When we finished our breakfast We went over to the TukTuk. The driver must have waited for atleast 15/20mins..
The TukTuk took us to see
Wat Intramhan (standing budda) At the standing budda we bought a little cage of birds which cost 90 Bhat and kirsty let them free for good luck,
Wat Benchamabophit (lucky budda).
Went to the tourist Info.. There we booked our flight, Bus, Boat and accomadation for Ko samui and Bus to Phuket.. After finalising the deal I (lewis) Drunk some Snake whiskey which actulally had 2 Cobra's in the bottle which used to b alive!!! was pretty nice tho.. Couldnt drink a whole bottle of the stuff mind. After Sorting all the traveling out for 2hrs.. went outside to find the Tuk Tuk driver was still waiting!! bloodly nice chap.
Then the Tuk Tuk driver took us to 2 suit shops... this was
part of the drive... It will get him 5litres of fuel if u buy a suit for about what they think is 20quid... We said we would come back another time knowing we wouldnt.. The TukTuk driver was a little upset but none the matter he still dropped us to the final stop
The Grand Palace Today was a Praying day...
Decided to Walk back from the Grand Palace But got lost, this ended out to be a good thing as we came across a Thai market Selling allsorts!!
Had pad thai again that nite from the same man.

Then started our travels to
Wat Po The reclining budda (which lewis called Po wat to all the locals..) But got lost and had to flag down a taxi. The whole day there was one of the best yet! The sun and the atmosphere.
Managed to find our way back to Ko san road. And started doin a little shopping
done our first bit of bartering.. Saved a little money. Had a meal in one for the Bars in Ko san Road. Had Red thai curry, garlic rice and veg wit big noodles... Was the best meal So far!! didnt cost to much either!..
