The night we arrived back to Bangkok from Pattaya, Stu and I got a tattoo done (sorry Mum and Dad!), Sue didnt seem too impressed with Stu's ankle! tee hee, i am such a bad influence!
Sue and Dave arrived in Bangkok, it was good to see them and hear all the stories of home.
The first night we took them for a drink and people watching along Khao San Road, with the largest beer, 3ltrs worth!
We went to the Grand Palace, men and women have to cover up, shoulders covered with a shirt or sarong, men had to wear trousers but ladies were ok with a skirt on, it was so hot to wear a full top, we're used to wearing vest tops and shorts all the time day or night, Wat Pho and the Reclining Buddha, this was too large for the building it was in, you had to cover your shoulders when you enter but men were fine for this one., these were all very impressive.
We leave inthe morning for Kanchanaburi by train, should only take 2hrs.
