Well our plan was to get to the Jatujak market for 9am when it opened and would be cooler, but feeling absolutley wrecked (am gonna need another holiday to get over this one!) we only managed to get there at 11am.
The whole place is madness - stalls everywhere, you go down one alley and it opens up onto a complete new one! You need a map to navigate around it as they sell everything here, from clothes to jewellery to pets!
And the later in the day it got, the more stalls came out and the more people arrived - crazy!
We were ready to barter but here as the prices are so low there is no need for it - they are all in competition so put them as low as they can go from the off - made it alot easier for us anyway!
By about 4pm though we were starting to lose the will to shop so left JJ's - and went back to the MBK instead! Well we still had presents to buy and the heat and crowds were getting to us - at least at MBK it's air con.
Finally, by 8.30pm we had finished - a full 9 hours shopping, not bad for us girlies (you men would have died).
We headed back, sorted out our pressies (my favourite bit) then went for something to eat and a few beers. Although it was our last night we didn't feel like a mad one, sad i know but it didn't bother us - at the end of the road and had plenty of them along the way!
So again, at just after 1pm (seems to be our regular bed time) we headed back to our room for our last night's sleep in Thailand.
Can't believe we are going home tomorrow night - I don't want too!
