Hi,

just quickly, here are those photos I promised of the lovely Shambara Boutique Hostel.

if you want to know anything else about it, feel free to put on a comment or send a personal message to that effect and ill get back to you.

i definately recommend it.

it is on Old Tanao Road, I think its called, parallel to Tanao Road, which is at one end of the famous and fun Khao San Road.

so it is less than a minute out to a great time.

and less than 15 minutes walk to the Grand Palace and other great sites around there.

ive met some great people here. most are great in fact.
ive been lucky to meet both fabulous locals and fabulous fellow travellers in all 3 countries ive been to.

i won't ramble on any more, just show you the pictures:

Hi! I love travelling. I don't know what to do with myself when I'm in my home country Australia. It is most interesting to me when I am travelling to another state or something. As an English and Japanese teacher I've lived in Japan and China, but I've also travelled a lot apart from that, such as Korea, the USA and Germany. Living in Australia at the moment, I'm always hanging out for a trip overseas. I love learning languages and photography, so they are always my focus when I travel. About sites to see, I am interested in history and culture, so I love everything from a trip to a templ... full info

great time
Hi there, I have stayed there and it is a great place to stay, it is down the end of the Khao San, basically the next Soi after McDonalds and the Buddy Lodge. In you turn left after McDonalds go past the Harn Guesthouse and then 20 Meters and you are at the Shambara. The Soi is nothing like the Shambara, I have read a few comments in the past about the Soi. But once you get into your room, I am sure you will love it. You are a minute from the busy Khao San, but when you are there it feels like a million miles away. I hope you enjoy your time over here in Thailand, if you need any other info, drop me a line
