Our flight from Singapore airport to Bangkok went well apart from us almost missing the flight, lol! We were wandering around airport waiting for out gate to come up on board when we noticed free internet sigh so off we plodded to send our emailos to let everyone know we were ok when before we knew it 15 minutes had passed so we looked at screen to see last call flashing next to our fight numver so off we ran to see if we could catch it, we flew down to the gate, we had just made it-phew! we then had nice flight to Bangkok, it flew in (pardon the pun!) Once landed we then went to get out baggage which was trying in itself as since we got cheapy flight the baggage carousel number was not on board so after eventually finsing where it had been unloaded we found Laura's bag and the rest of the people's but not mine, after kinda freaking out slightly Laura went for a walk around to see if she could spot it when she noticed it face down on the floor beside a carousel-phew! So we then headed ot to be confronted/bombarded by a huge crowd shouting at us asking if we would like a taxi, a hotel, a hostel, a limo etc it was madness so we decined all offers and headed out looking for taxi which would not rip us off, after bartering with some people unsuccessfully we headed for metered taxi, we made a deal and headed off to our hostel! After a good drive which we got for a bargained price we eventually arrived at our hostel 'Urban Age', it was a bit shabby to look at but once inside it was fine ad dandy! We of course where on the 6th floor and with no lift we dragged ourselves up to find a nice 6 bed room with air con woohoo!!! We dumped our stuff and headed our to explore! Bankkok is one big bustling city! Overwhelming at first but once there its a nice place! We seen huge building, cars zooming around, tuk-tuks, taxi's, motorbikes, people everywhere, street sellers, markets, food sellers on street, people getting hair cut down lanes, everything! What we really noticed was how everyone was weasring yelloe t-shirts which we are guessing is something to do with the King and their religion, the King is everywhere in Bangkok-pictures o him everywhere-literally everywhere! He seems to be like a god there, they always flew 2 flags beside his pictures, the Thailand one and a yellow one which again is why we reckon the yellow tshirts is something to do with him and their religion. Nways, the weather was great, not too hot, a little clammy but nothing to moan about! We walked to a nearby park where we witnessed the funniest sight-a man on stage in lycra doing aerobics to around 200+ people copying him-we were in hysterics, its was fabulous! They were bouncing arounf like eejits to blaring music, superb sight! After watching that for a whicle we then headed for our hostel again, but of course us being us got lost in the park for about a hour and couldnt find the exit! Eventually after finding or way out we had to find hostel so off we went trying to find it, as we walked we witnessed the sellers again with all sorts of good, clothing, sunglasases, souviners, food, everything! We then came accrioss the big well known night market so we headed to that and seen some gorgeous pictues etc, i purchased some birkinstock sandals which were cheap as chips! I would def come here again with a empty suitcase as it could be fuilled with fab goods for next to nothing! We then headed to tables to chill out with smoothie and listen/laugh at the boyband entertaining us on stage. After a wee while we decided to head to gostel as nackered so off we went again, on route i felt legs very hot and itchy and dicovered they were bright red and inflammed, so we went vis checmisty for some cream to soothe it with antibiotics in in, helped thankfully although still have rash now but not painful 😊
