Hey everyone,

I hope you have all enjoyed our blog. This will be the last entry as we are going back to Detroit tonight. This trip has been the experience of a lifetime. We wouldn't trade anything for the experiences and the things that we have learned. We feel privileged to have the opportunity to make such a trip and we encourage everyone who has the means and the time to do the same.

The last blog ended in Siem Riep, which is the town next to Ankor (one of the, if not the biggest temple complexes in the world). We can't say enough about this place as it is truly one of the wonders of the world.

As we said earlier we arrived back in Bangkok with the plan to go to Koh Chang (Jamila's favorite island). However, we did not realize that so far into the rainy season Koh chang would not have one single ray of sunshine all day. Kind of a bummer considering the beauty of the island.
When we arrived on the island we went directly to lonely beach, as instructed by multiple people. However, when we got there all we found was empty bungalows and resorts that looked uninviting in the grey depressing weather. With no restaurant or 7-11 in sight we decided to hitch a ride back to White sands beach. Here at least, even if the weather was terrible, we had something to do. We ended up staying in a nice place called "cookies" and hanging out with a very nice couple (Esty and Tzion). We went to Sabay bar and got verschnikkert two nights in a row and woke up late both mornings. We rented motor bikes and visited a waterfall somewhere in the middle of the island.
We could really tell how beautiful the island must be when the sun is shining high up in the sky, but the gloomy weather caused us to leave 2 days early (with our new friends). So back in Bangkok we have enjoyed countless days of Chabad kosher food, Isreali connection ice coffees with milk, movies at the MBK and EGV, some last minute shopping, and sight seeing.

We have truly learned to appreciate Bangkok as a great city. A little busy and crazy at times, but nonetheless a wonderful place to visit.

This trip has been a true adventure and we thank all of you for sharing it with us. We have grown as individuals and our relationship is stronger now than ever. We are ready to move on in our lives towards a career in medicine and building a family. We will be flying out of Bangkok at 1:20 a.m. to Seoul, Korea and continue on a 14 hr. flight to Atlanta, from where we will catch our last flight towards Detroit.

I've uploaded some more pics, so enjoy.

We love you all very much and thank you again for all the support you have given us in the past and hopefully will continue to give us in the future.

Farewell!
Hi Ishai and Elinor, You guys have been so great with providing pictures and stories of the trip. My trip is coming to an end too and looking back on it, I wish I could have done travelblogs with pictures too, but the internet cafe´s here don´t accept my memory card for the camera. I guess I should have setup USB. Have a safe trip back and I´ll talk to you guys soon. -Omead
