Landed after 13 + flight

So,

My journey started in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 4th at 6: 45pm. To be honest, I was a bit nervous and everything hit me, and I realised that I was REALLY GOING!!! From ABQ I went on to Phoenix, which I had an hour layover-then finally on to Los Angeles. I arrived in the International Terminal of LAX and that's where it hit me that I am actually doing this all by myself!! It was funny because I was the only one with the big backpack in line...hehehe....most of the flyers were with huge boxes of merchandise from the USA to take back to their home. There were a few Americans on my flight, but majority were Asian. Luckily for me I do not stick out like a sore thumb, usually when I travel I can blend in....I think I almost did, but the pink backpack gave it away;) hehehe...

Well the plane ride was my longest plane ride, yet to have encountered! From Los Angles to Taipai was about 13.5 hours, and I am still not to my final destination...We arrived in Taipai, Tawain at 6am (June 6th, Saturday) and currently....

I am sitting here at the airport sleeped deprived, drinking oolong tea, messy hair-kinda in need of a shower type deal;) I have 4 hours to wait. I was going to head into the city, but you need at least a few hours, because the bus into the city takes anywhere from 45mins-70mins depending on traffic. I mean I could leave the airport if I wanted to, but I do not want to chance it and miss my flight into Bangkok.

It's funny because I will be meeting a college friend of mine tonight in Bangkok...only for a few hours though. That makes me feel a bit better, so I do not feel entirely alone...As I said I am traveling alone, but will be meeting people (new people and friends) here and there throughout my trip. The best is yet to come..stay tuned...
