Our school had a holiday, so we hiked this mountain in Daejeon. Daejeon is surrounded by mountains and this one is located south-east of where we live.

There were many of these porcelain baby Buddhas on different altars surrounding the temple.

A lone temple on the top of a steep hill. It was very peaceful here and I bet that on days not filled with smog the view is beautiful.

Inside the temple there was one female monk chanting alone the whole time we were there.

Finally reached the top of the mountain! Jeff was contemplating whether or not to raise our tiny Canadian flag patch on the pole in this picture.
