Hongsi is a fully mellowed persimmon which has been a favorite traditional food in Korea. We call it Hongsi or Kachibob. Kachibob means we have always left some of them for birds-one of birds' names is Kachi-on the trees after harvesting them in fall. We have believed the sound of this bird in the morning could attract pleasant guests from everywhere.
We believe that the sound of this bird in the morning can attract pleasant guests from everywhere. That's why we call it Hongsi which has connotations of warmth and sharing, so we want to share same feeling with guests. We really would like to invite lots of friends who love arts and cultures from all over the world.
