This week is just making me giddy. Yesterday was Kathleen's birthday and Friday at 1am I get to welcome Jamie and co. to SoKo. Sooo good.
I got my Korean driver's license today!!! It was so much easier than expected. I think it is because I read some blogs of people from Seoul going and getting theirs. In Daegu, at least in the morning, the people traffic at the DLA was so minimal. It was incredible.

*3 photos (passport sized)
*passport
*ARC card (alien registration card)

I arrived with my coteacher and there weren't many people around. There was a seperate counter for foreigners. They began processing me right away. There was a bunch of paperwork and then I paid and had a health check (colorblind, eye chart on a wall, squatted down, made fists and released them several times...), then I paid more money and was sent to the third floor to take the test. I guessed on 5 of the answers. My coteacher said you have to get 12/20 to pass, which is pretty sweet. Then I only waited 10 minutes and they had my card ready to go... If you go to the DLA before 3pm they can get you your licence the same day... Def worth it...

Driving Course IIThey also have to drive up hill in a manual car and stop before the top; then begin again without a certain amount of rolling... The driving portion of the test in Korea is muuuch more difficult. Than
