HollerThe view from the door next to my office.
Here are some clips of partner yoga. This was from the first day of trying it out in the Body Design class.
It has been a while. I have been working, traveling, biking, and doing yoga. I'm pretty tired right now. I spent the weekend in Seoul at a Zen Counseling seminar. It was really interesting. I had gone up skeptical and now I am glad that I went. I was the only foreigner taking the seminar, but it was taught by a German man and then translated into Korean. It was so interesting hearing the reverse of what I am used to. Normally I hear Korean to English. The space we were in was small and intimate and the group was only about 20 or so people. It was cool to see people who traveled all of the way from Jeju-Do and Busan for the course. We slept at a yoga center in Illsan. The yoga center's focus is Tibetan Pulsing, which is geared towards waking up ones sexual energy to help restore and relax the body. I have never seen it or heard of it before, so now I am curious. A few years ago our yoga center
had a workshop. It was cool to talk to people about their experiences with it.
Less than 3 months till I am home! I cannot believe it.
Shout out to my mom: Love and miss you!!!
Last night in Body Design class we had someone come and film the class for a news segment. The class was so difficult. I literally walked out of class looking like I had showered. I also was really angry. I watched the anger. It felt so strong. It started when I was doing a pose, or trying to, but didn't have the energy in my muscles, so the anger burned in my chest and then grew and grew. I didn't explode, but it was intense. I have been supressing my anger since about the fifth grade. After the Zen Counseling, I want to see all of me and let what is me move around and have space.
It is a rainy day. Bah. So I have decided I don't want to bike. I was contemplating walking, but that will put me in the rain for even longer. I think I will taxi. Boo.
Yesterday I taught my first teacher's
class of yoga in the new and improved yoga room. 6 teachers came. It was awesome. 2 new students ;) After class, the nutritionist and I hung out for about 20 minutes and just chatted and relaxed. It was awesome. I looooove the new yoga room. Here are pictures :)

the partner yoga videos are amazing, great job. btw how did you find out about the zen counseling seminar? does that center have retreats often?
I heard about it through my studio. We organized a group of 8 people and all went together... Now that I know you are interested, if I hear about anything I'll post it on here. Daum Cafe is a good way to stay connected. I haven't figured out all of the ins and outs, but there are interest groups you can become a part of and events are posted on there. The only catch is that it is all in Korean^^
