When I went to lunch yesterday, it was a bright sunny day, at 2pm it was cloudy, incredibly windy, and raining. Luckily, by the time I finished work the clouds had parted, but it was still chilly. I biked to yoga via a new path. It was no fun. There were so many stop lights and I ended up biking on bark for a few minutes, which is really difficult… Then I hit a dead-end and had to jump a curb. I went home by my normal route, which was a comfort and easy and people-less. I want to discover a path that is less populated at 4:30… I am afraid to go the path with the huge hills; not because I can’t handle them, but that is the direction the construction was moving. The thought of heading up or down a hill and having the sidewalk just stop makes me frustrated just thinking about it.
I’m going through a phase of zero confidence with my Korean. I am not making time to practice, so my vocabulary is not expanding. I’m just sitting uncomfortably hoping that something will click and I’ll get back my confidence. I’m not sure exactly what happened, but my ability to comprehend is just seriously lacking. I have gotten into the habit of not listening to what people say and just making assumptions. So I end up feeling like a jack-a**. I can’t explain why I am doing it. I think I want to be farther along than I am, so I am pushing myself. Then conversely, I will listen and not understand every word, but understand the gist, and yet when I am asked to respond, I am not sure what to say in reply, so I look like I don’t understand, which frustrates me also. I just need to breathe.

In.... out.... in.... out. *repeat as necessary*
You'll do it. You're prob further in a language than I am. I seem to be at a similar point in my welsh. Although I have no one to listen to. I'm trying to find a different book... just as a chance in pace. Got a film that is partially in welsh, but I seem to have hit a wall as well. Hopefully we can both break through the wall and move on in our studies.

I searched for "let my love open the door (to your heart)" in Youtube.com site.
I knew that this song is sung by the singer, Pete Townshend. He is a great singer, I think.
this song made my mind alive. I watched and heard both "let my love open the door(Dan in real life soundtrack version)" and "let my love open the door(House/Cameron version)" in Youtube.
and the song, "Alive" sung by Sa ding ding(Chinese singer) is very impressive. this music is looked like mixing the Tibetan, Indian and Chinese culture. It is very fantastic and dreamy. but frankly speaking, lyrics of this song in Youtube.com are not clear. I can't understand lyrics.
lastly, the song, "One blood", reggae sound, sung by Junior Reid is very meaningful song. I hope we can be friend without racism and colors of skin. thanks to you, I knew these three good songs.
thanks! I want you to watch and hear this song, "Why can't we be friends-Bridge to Terabithia" in Youtube.com site. Good luck to you.
Although my English is very poor, I will struggle on with English.
to my view, Your Korean writing is very good, I belive you will keep on learning Korean.
Don't let this obstacle deter you from your Korean studies. Sometimes we have to sink into a fog before we can break through to a more lucid place....
Persevere. :-)
