Leaving the UK all went fine flights were faultless although Id love to know how much extra 1st class is as they had fantastic leg room which I did not! And so we reached our final stop on our 5 month World tour - Singapore, where we stayed for 4 nights before flying back home. We hadn't thought much about Singapore in advance as it was the very last place we were visiting, and we didn't have a guidebook, so we weren't really sure what to expect. Been a hectic week, so much going on I can't even think where to begin. I had a horrible yes horrible job working a PROMO (which really i think they shouldn't hire models unless the models are with a promotional agency) handing out cards sprayed with a new Chloe perfume. I don't care how much they were paying it didn't help that I was in killer heels on a new shiny surface, being scorned at by grouchy old women and "larger" ladies and I swear I now have RSI from spraying that damn perfume so much. Day 7 Thursday October 8, 2009 I awoke around 8:00 this morning and was excited to catch Talia on line so that we could at least chat through gmail since my skype is having some issues. Singapore We arrived in Singapore late and made our way to Mt Emily guest house. The first night all 5 of us crammed into one small room, it was fun! We enjoyed shopping down Orchard Road and I was so stocked to find all the London shops that I love. Mum and Dad introduced us to Moss Burger a place that does yummy variations of burgers including a salad burger and a rice burger. Day 6 Wednesday October 7, 2009 After a good nights sleep I awoke and ordered coffee and French toast with a side of watermelon. I guess they had to go to France to get the bread because it cost $42 or about $30 US. Singapore is not for the faint of heart. I got myself ready for a big day.
