Our last day - Singapore

relaxing in the pool

Today we had our first sleep- in, lovely. We then went up to the pool area and had a lovely swim in the pool and an enjoyable and relaxing breakfast. It was so nice to float around in the pool and reflect on our holiday. We have seen and done so much in such a short time.
We then met up with Mike and Jan and went on a cruise on the Singapore River. The cruise was lovely and we enjoyed taking in all the sights of Singapore.
Following our cruise we went to the famous Raffles Hotel. (I had to have a Singapore Sling at Raffles!!).
Jan and I wandered around the Hotel and we were amazed at is grandeur.
We then returned to the Swisshotel and collected our bags and headed for the airport to catch our 8pm flight from Singapore to Sydney. The flight was fine but it was very difficult to sleep on the plane and so, we were up all night.
