Day 1 in Singapore I already know two people from Thailand who are here. Suzie from America and Luane from Brasil. I met up with Suzie and her friend Lisa at Ion, the new mall thats opened up here. We had a bit of a shop around but the place is so hectic, neither of us could barely stand it.
They took me out to an event at stereolab, free dinner (all models love a good feed) and drinks. Luane's friend Edmund picked us up afterwards and took us to a beautiful club called Mimolette, in the middle of a rainforest on a horse ranch. So pretty!
Afterwards we headed to Attica Too, the music was nothing spesh, so we headed home shortly after. I returned home to find my apartment absolutely trashed by my house mates, who'd decided to build a sculpture out of every available chair and their shoes.
The next day i picked my way carefully across the littered floor to leave to go Wakeboarding on the Singapore/Malaysia border. It was Lu and Barbie's (Hungary) first time, they both got up, Congrats! Megan (Eng) and her friend Karina had done it the day before and were feeling

a little worse for wear, but still managed to get some good riding time in.
We all went back to Edmunds house to make dinner and watch movies, but the latter never happened because his dvd player wasn't working :(
Sunday I went to Suzie's house in Buona Vista. She had this mad house party full of French people and a few English and Aussies too. One of the guys was a bit of a wine connissour so we had a plentiful french champagne/wine supply.
I got talking to a lot of people about diving, seems they're all divers too. Found out some of the best tips for secret dive spots in Borneo, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Candy then ushered all the girls out to her car, where we then moved on to a Brasillian theme party on the bay. TBD.SG.
We got these cute little "Senhor do Bonfin" wristbands that you tie 3 times, and supposedly when it falls off your 3 wishes come true. Here's to hoping at least!
We had an amazing Brasillian bbq, with Wagyu beef and all sorts of yummy food and of course capirinha's and mojito's.
Lu, Megan and Isa (Argentina) came with Edmund
from playing at Sentosa Marina. We watched the Brasillian fire dancers, and the capoiera drumming (so cool!)
At the end of the night Lu Lu and I conned the bar boys into giving us their t-shirts. Marco (Italy) had a bus waiting for everyone to go down to Holland village and party at a bar. I practiced my portuguese, since practically everyone there was Brasillian or spoke portuguese.
By the end of the night I was tired and most definitely ready for bed!
More updates when I go out next :)
