Sabang, Puerto Galera

Was in Manila meeting my friend Pelle and needed an escape! Nearest "beach resort" is Puerto Galera in Mindoro, so hopped on a bus to Batangas and Banca over to Sabang. Sabang has a reputation for two main activities diving and nightlife, but it cant seem to decide which one has priority! So here you can have both! Had been before and dived here and the diving is very good but this time just needed rest!
Before I had stayed at the quiet end of Sabang so this time I decided to stay in the middle of town and relax. Not much chance of that! The nightlife seems to have overtaken the diving in the town centre so a bit crazy! Stayed in nice resort and spent most of my time either in the pool or at Tinas, a great little restuarant at the quiet eastern end of the town. No real beach here but some nice little bays a few minutes away. Unfortunately I now have to compare places with my previous destination, Boracay, and Sabang is not even close to matching that! but a nice retreat from Manila for a few days!
