Manila, Philippines!

Mabuhay!! Welcome to the Philippines!!

I finally made it over here....after 32 hours of traveling, we finally arrived in Manila sometime early in the morning. It's really strange: they are 12 hours ahead over here, so it completely throws you off your sleeping schedule!!

The flights were ok...I completely forgot to order a vegetarian meal, so simply had to pick around the meat and beg for fruit and bread from the neighbors haha

Umm....quick side message right now - I'm in an internet cafe right next to the hotel and someone is playing Chris Brown's "Without You" (or at least I think that's his song) and the cutest little kid is singing along!!

ANYWAYS, the flights were long...when we finally arrived in Manila around 2 AM, the shuttle vans were waiting and took us to the hotel. Over there, they had pizza, sandwiches, fruits, juices, and all sorts of things for us! Delicious!!

This place is absolutely amazing!! It reminds me a lot of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. There are people everywhere at all hours, always busy, and very polluted! There are kids everywhere, some of them begging. It's difficult to not give them anything.

Well the group wants to go get some lunch before we all meet again, so I have to go...we'll talk soon again!!
