Philippines: Part 1 - The Wedding

Such an exciting occasion - my dear friends Joey and Miko getting married in the Philippines!! Not sure whether I was more excited about the wedding, or the fact that I'd be seeing Jo and Jamike after being away from home for so long..
Flew in at midnight from Dubai and we were up for hours just catching up... The next few days were spent doing pre-wedding bits and pieces but Jo being the down to earth bride that she is, always made sure there was time for eating, drinking, shopping and of course chatting till the wee hours of the morning! Highlights were the expedition to Greenhills, late nights out at Greenbelt and just chilling on the couch at the Oakwood apartments on the doorstop of Glorietta - a fabulous mall with Goldilocks siopao, Jollibee palabok at our fingertips! (We've always just been simple girls haven't we Jo?)
The big day was a beautiful occasion - the happy couple surrounded with loving family and friends.
Jo and Jamike - thanks for the laughs, the usual fun and shannigans - simply a wonderful time..

Having been deprived of my parents home cooking, I couldn't wait to get to the Philippines! Mouths watering Maureen and I can't wait to get to our green mango juice, while Jamike can barely take his eyes away from his dinner!
