TOUR A LONG THE KARAKORUM HIGHWAY TO HUNZA VALLEY
(HIKKING IN THE VALLEY)
This program allows you to discover the high mountain valley of the Karakorum, HUNZA VALLEY, Shangri-La and Heaven on earth. It is also an opportunity to meet the local people, touch their culture and warm hospitality with simple way of life and gives unique experience by hiking in various parts of the valley. You may sightseeing of towns with different tribes and wonderful nature where the Himalayas, the Karakuram and the Hindu-Kush ranges meet together. Also mix up with local population of roof of the world, visits to local traditional houses.

You will also travel on the Karakoram Highway, 8th wondrous of the world, also called Silk Route on the footsteps of Marco-polo. This is one of the highest and most spectacular roads in the world. A highway that cuts through the crest of the Karakoram Range affording unrivalled views of the snow capped peaks, while linking the historic cultures of South and North and the Hunza valleys with Kashghar and Central Asia. The Karakoram Highway is the life-artery for the Northern Areas of the country and provides the road link between China via Khunjerab Pass 4733m,

Travelling through Pakistan is unique experience that will have you captivated during the entire journey, whether it be trekking in or traveling in cities and the Karakorum Highway. The landscape is striking, in some places it has sheer, snow-capped mountains ascending from deep valleys, and in others, lush alpine meadows carpeted in colorful wildflowers and dazzling apple Blossoms. Where the cities and its Bazaars are so colorful and historical, their terraced villages supported by traditional farming methods and where lifestyles have seen little change over the centuries. Each day in Pakistan provides a new and exciting scene.

Day-01: Arrival to Islamabad, transfer to the hotel
Day-02: Fly to Gilgit or drive to Chilas on Karakorum Highway/hotel
Day-03:Continue to Karimabad – Hunza/hotel
Day-04: Visit of Baltit Fort and Altit Fort by foot/hotel
Day-05: Drive to Hopar and walk on the glacier and drive to Duikar/hotel
Day-06: Drive to Lake, boat safari and drive to Passu/hotel
Day-07: Drive to Shimshal/hotel
Day-08: Walk around the villages/hotel
Day-09: Drive back to Passu/hotel
Day-10: Drive to Karimabad/hotel
Day-11: Continue to Gilgit/hotel
Day12: Fly to Islamabad or drive
