Lazy Pokhara

We have a lot of time to relax our muscles and to fully recover. Our plan was to stay only for two nights but we needed to extend as it was more difficult than we thought to get bus tickets back to Kathmandu.

Lakeside, a long strip of budget hotels, bars and tourist shops along the Phewa lake is a perfect place to hang out and to get used again to "civilization" after the three weeks trek. We really didn’t do much except rowing a bit over the lake, visiting the world peace pagoda and a short bicycle ride through the real, old Pokhara.

Now we are bored and are looking forward to move on.

Wir haben eine Menge Zeit unsere Muskeln zu entspannen und uns voll zu erholen. Eigentlich hatten wir nur zwei Naechte in Pokhara geplant mussten dann aber unfreiwillig verlaengern, da es um einiges schwieriger war Bus Tickets nach Kathmandu zu bekommen als gedacht.

Lakeside, eine lange Strasse voll mit billigen Hotels, Bars und Touristen Laeden entlang des Phewa See, ist der perfekte platz um nach einem dreiwoechigen Trek abzuhaengen und sich wieder an die sogenannte Zivilisation zu gewoehnen. Wir haben daher auch bisher nicht wirklich viel gemacht ausser ein bischen ueber den See gerudert, die World Peace Pagoda angeschaut und einen kleinen Radelausflug durch das echte, alte Pokhara.

Jetzt sind wir gelangweilt und freuen uns auf die Weiterreise.
