Started from Lukla... after 1 day rush preparing my permit, buying some mountain gears, arranging my tibet visa, and finally bought my Yeti Air ticket to Lukla... leaving Kathmandu next day early in the morning, I finally arrived in Lukla after 15-20 min flying. It felt so good to smell the fresh air of d'mountain again... and d'cold wind was quite a big change after d'hot Kathmandu. Around 7a.m. I was ready to hit the trail of legendary Everest.
It was not my first intention to hire a porter or guide. However, as I saw everybody was with their guide and porter... I started to think about should I get one or not. I didn't find any single trekkers that I could hook up together to do this, and my publications on finding a trekking partner only gave me responses on a few people that is willing to do d'same trek but different date. Anyway, I finally decided to hire local people in Lukla just in case I need a hand later on.
Anyway, let's start with my first day in Sagarmatha National Park ok...
