Welcome to the spice garden
Despite promising myself no more beaches for a while I've agreed to meet Judith today and find a beach. I consider it motivation to skip the beaches on the other side of the peninsular.

30 push-ups & 60 sit-ups.

I stop for breakfast on the way to Judith's hotel which makes me late. Not sure if I do this because she was late yesterday and I expect her to be late today or because I'm petty about her being late yesterday. She's waiting in the lobby when I get there and I apologise.

I run my laptop to her room whilst she makes a phone call and we head out to get her a bus ticket to KL for tomorrow. I look around for a ticket for me and try to figure out where to go next. The Perentian islands look good.

A stop at my hotel to book me a bus ticket and Judith and I head out for adventure. First stop a Spice Garden, but first we stop at Tesco to hide from the rain. We get lunch.

The spice gardens issue mosquito repellent on entry, not my favourite welcome. The gardens are beautiful

(and smell nice). We watch a couple getting their wedding photos taken (wedding photos are taken before the wedding).

We find a beach not far away, but neither of us are in the mood. We barely get off the bike before getting back on and heading to Georgetown.

In Judith's room we swap photos and I make use of her shower one more time. I'm going to miss that shower. We say goodbye and promise to stay in touch, which I would like.

On the walk back stop in a book shop. Books here are expensive with a worn second hand paperback going for 32 ringgit (£6.40). There's a 'cheap' section with books for 10 ringgit, I take something that looks like it might be worth the £2 for my 8 hour bus trip tomorrow. The owner is intersted in swapping my current book for one of his Terry Pratchets and will even stay open late so I can finish my current book. I don't think he's offering from the kindness of his heart.

Street diner for dinner. Must be better timing tonight as there's a lot more food stalls.

upload some photos, finish my book and get an early night. My bus leaves at 07h00 tomorrow.

A few distractions and I don't get my early night or read any of my book. And there's a cockroach living under my bed.
