Got back to Malaysia yesterday afternoon at around 1pm. I'm still staying around CHina Town in a different hostel. It's funny how that all the other countries I've been to, which I would expect of them more then KL, did not have bedbugs where I was staying. But for some reason both places I've stayed here had them. this one place more than the other. Las night before going to bed I saw a few crawling around one of the beds in my room and I said to myself: "Oh great! Here we go." Well i woke up this morning with about 6 or 7 of them crawling around the bed and as I started going on a killing spree, the blood was just ghushing outta them. funny how I can't seem to find the bite marks but I don't know, it still freaks me out. I have cockroaches also, but that I can care less about, they really don't bother me. Oh mom... I sent a package home via sea mail. As I was packing it at the post office one crawled out (bedbug)... LOL Don't worry, I'll shake it out once I get home and open the package... LOL SORRY!
Today I went for my Starbucks coffee (well decaf, first one in what feels like a long time) The staff welcomed me back with a: "Hey Selma Blair's back!!!" Thanks guys. It still follows me around the world.. too funny. I'M NOT HER!!! LOL I went for breakfast then wanted to walk around, but it never fails to rain here everyday.. almost as though a typhoon were to hit. So I came back to my hostel and watched some tv. Went to the post office, had another coffee and some lunch, now I'm back here 'cause it's STILL pouring rain. KL is a nice city, but really just not for me. It's a beautiful place with lots of good shopping for fakes and real designer stuff 9not that I have the cash for it), amazing grub to fany your "palette" and so much more. BUT I opted to leave tomorrow morning to head to Lumut (4hr bus ride: WOW! that's so short!) to catch the ferry to Palau Pangkor where I'll stay a few days (hopefully on a beach somewhere), then head to Penang (the next island up) for another few days. I may catch a flight out of Penang to Bangkok as there are really cheap flights through AirAsia, cheaper then ferry/bus/train to Bangkok, so why not? Quick and comfortable.
I think tonight I may just head to the Reggae Bar where happy hour is great, and some fare food. Have a few beers so I won't be as bothered by the "bugs" tonight...
Anyhoo, that's it I think, feeling a little closterphobic in this common room, so I'll head out and venture and see if it's still raining...
later!
