From Koh Lipe to Langkawi Island we had an interesting travel with a speed boat. The sea was rough and the boat at difficulty in crossing the waves. We all got wet our legs were aching by the strech of the muscles.
We stayed at AB Motel ( RM 80 ) on the Cenang Beach . We had sea food and duck at dinner at Orkid Ria Restaurant.
We caugth the night train from the mainland (Arau) to Kuala Lumpur (KL). We had a perfect sleep on the train.
Early in the morning we arrived at KL. We wandered few hours at Bintang Area and then took the bus to the airport for our fligth to Tawau (Borneo Island).
Upon arrival at Tawau we shared a taxi to Semporna (RM 95 total) where we had a night on floating hotel Dragon Inn ( RM88 ).
Arranging the Uncle Chang's Lodge on Mabul Island we started early in the morning by a speed boat and it took one hour.
Uncle Chang's place is very basic but friendly. We enjoyed at Uncle Chang's place and had a party at night. We took two snorkelling trips, one
to Kapalai Island.
We snorkelled at several points around Mabul Island by ourselves and visited sea gipsy village, Mabul Resort, Scuba Junki Resort, Sipadan Mabul Resort.
The food at Uncle Chang's place was chicken & rice or rice & chicken, but the bananas, tea & coffee were free.
We left Mabul Island full of emotions and spent the night on mainland , Semporna at Hotel Sipadan Inn ( strongly recommended).
Now we are on the way to Orang Utans.
