Hey y'all, just came back from a 7-day excursion to Malaysia. Whether or not you like the country depends on where you go. Crime is rampant in Johor Bahru, a city in the southern part of the country. Kuala Lumpur is safer, but it's advisable not to walk alone at night, especially if you're female. Men on motorcycles will stare at you with devious eyes, hoping to snatch your purse or wallet and ride away. The first leg of the trip was a journey to the Cameron Highlands. The highlands are mountainous areas with embedded spaces of flat lands that are situated high above sea level. Plantations of all sorts are found here, from tea to honey to cabbage and to those found in your average vegetable gardens. The floral lifeform here is somewhat best described as similar to that of Vancouver's. Because of its high altitude, there is a mixture of rainforest and coniferous plants, which was strange to see. Humidity is fairly low. The Cameron Highlands is a very beautiful place, although it's got very narrow roads fit for one car that somehow gives enough space for vehicles going the other way. In the morning, misty clouds surround the

entire region and if one were to go above the clouds, you'll find a picturesque view of the highlands broken by clouds. We stayed at the Strawberry Park Resort - very lovely and spacious rooms.
The next leg of the trip was the Genting Highlands. Five hotels are situated on this mountain, which must be crushing under their weights! Only go there if you wanna gamble or ride rollercoasters in the theme park. We stayed at the First World Hotel... I won't comment on the hotel service or their rooms 'cause I've nothing nice to say about it. However, one good thing about it is its awesome views and cable car ride.
Enjoy the pics! And enjoy the flowers, Dana.
