Hello Ladies and Gentlemen

Having had a few blogs colapse on me previously I had decided to give up on blogging, that is until I realised that a few, and maybe just a few! People maybe want to read from time to time, when they are perhaps on the toilet with their laptop, when maybe they click by mistake or maybe (which is most likely) they can't be arsed with the pressures of work for five minutes and every now and then decide to have a read to either drive them back to work (with the thought: at least I am not a fucking hippy layable pissing around in other countries) or show a different way of life for a period of a few months (with the thought: you lucky f****r, I'm gonna have to get a round the world ticket soon, better get some money together!)

Whatever the thought, I don't care. I'm doing it for people who want to read so if you don't want too there are many shopping websites or redtube to have a look through.

Ok, let's start with this: my other blog screwed up so this is all gonna be very sporadic, many experiences shared over different places however I will always mention where I am in the title, will be as clear as I can when discussing any places visited and will move through various thoughts about a place, so as to give you a clearer picture of what I was feeling at the time.

We will begin, I am in Vientiane, Laos, it has a replica Champs Ellysses and replica Arc de Triomphe, much like Paris except about half the size. I am here to get a 60 days Thailand visa as the deadline for a free one is the 4th June, and it saves me about 70 quid flying money from Luanag Prabang, north of Laos.

I am screwed from drinking whiskey buckets and floating down a river in Vang Vieng for five days, this is chilling time before Thailand, which everyone on my travels has explained that this is the party capital of the world! Let's wait and see...

Until next time....

Love seeing the world - diverse career working in events and travel to this point, got a degree lot of good that was although i made some awesome friends at uni, two of which I am traveling with now. Also have great family, both immediate and extended and amazing friends back at my roots, the sleepy town of Coalville, Leicestershire. It was said you get a travel bug - this does seem to be the case.... I am now considering working abroad after doing South China and South-East Asia, a good starting point to begin the travels... would maybe be good to take a break and working for a few months... full info

Laos was under the control of Siam (Thailand) from the late 18th century until the late 19th century when it became part of French Indochina. The Franco-Siamese Treaty of 1907 defined the current Lao border with Thailand. In 1975, the Communist Path...more info
