Huay Xi

The bus trip took 8 hours it was the slowest, dustiest bus ride ever.... what a mission! Once we meet up it was cath up time, lots of drinks! Was good too see them again!!! We decided to do a 3day trek, from Muang Sing where we did a 60klm trek, spending the 2 nights in two different tribal villages. It was a great experience seeing how these people live and how happy and hard they work! Roe and I wanted a shower on day 2 and managed to work up the guts to use the communal shower, everyone was staring at us whities.... was quite funny! It was a mountainous trek, hard work and was an experience! Seeing them eat anything, snakes, birds, spiders. Our cook/guide shot a chicken with a slingshot and we ate him that night... They have no power, Tv's, none of the things that are normal to us but they live so happy like a big happy family. After Muang Sing we
