We've jumped the border!
Vang Vieng, Laos-I just wanted to let everyone know that we've made it to Laos after a few more days in Northern Vietnam. We don't have time to go into too many details, but here's a very abbreviated rundown of our pitstops from the last update.
After Sapa, we took a 2 day, overnight boat trip to Halong Bay on the coast of Vietnam.
After returning to Hanoi, we took thrilling 33 hour bus ride to Vientiene (the capital of Laos), then on to Vang Vieng where we have hanged our hats up to now.
That's the very short of it, and we'll include the juicy details when we find the time, I promise. It has been interesting. Let's just say hand-sized spiders, armed border guards, and sore rear-ends for now. Pictures to come.
Also, we've met up with Charla's sister, Sheena, as well as her boyfriend, Noah. A little bad, a lotta good, and all are well. Love to all!

Chris and Charla, I look forward to hearing of you adventures. Glad to hear you are safe, enjoying life, and living for the moment. Looking forward to hearing all the details.
OMG Have you really done all that is in your blog!!! You've packed more adventure into this vacation than most sea turtles can cram eggs into their sand nests. Wild and wonderful! Thanks for making it possible to "share" the fun.
