Tubing anyone?

We arrived in Vientiane after 23+ hours. The bus was about what I expected after hearing all the stories, it stopped nce for food at 2am when everyone was asleep, it got us to the boarder 2 hours early so we had to wait. The only good thing was the seats reclined enough to get some good broken sleep. I think we got a good one because we met people who didnt get a seat and were made to ly down in the aisle and swap seats with a friend every few hours!!!
On the up side we met a group for 8+ people and when we arrived in Vientiane we had a well desarved beer then went loking for cheap accomidation. The next day we did a really, really quick tour of the Vientiane sights before getting our bus. Eventhough the group were supposed to split the following day some people altered their plans and decided to come Tubing in Vang Vieng with us.

Our first day tubing was amazing!! nothing short, way better than expected! We got some photos and vids hopefully I can get them up. There are only a few being in the water is not condusive to taking photos...
I absolutly planted myself on the first swing which is the biggest and it felt like I cracked a rib! it took me a good 40 minutes, 3-4 free shots and a bucket to get over it completly. As we moved down we got more and more wasted but met mor and more friends, some old some new. The night continued very late at the other bars in town and there was a lot of laughing :0 :0 :0

We had so much fun on the river that we decided to stay a few more days, slightly aided by the fact that we got free accom., food and drinks to do what we just did. So we turned up for work at 12ish had breakfast and went out on the river again, we didn't get to do exactly what we were doing the first day because the othe rbars wouldntlet us in to promote there but we got to "Mud Bar" and brought people in there all day and made our own party. They gave us paint mixed in bottles of water to throw on people, you either looked sunburnt or like a smurf. There was a mud bath so we collected mud in buckets and covered peopel in that too. They also gave us a beer bong, which disappeared.

We obviously did a good job because we went to see our place the night before and it was dead but after 1 day workign we had 100 people in the bar who all knew us and we had tons of fun!!
Since I was waiting for a friend to arrive in Vang Vieng I decided to stay working for a few days but after 4 days straight of no stop partying, oh, I mean working, I decided it was time to move on again. Plus I have never put weight on that quickly before, it cant be good for the body!!

Too much madness and fun happened in those 4 days to put up here but it was good! Really good! :) :0 :) :0

Next stop Luang Phabang, thank god! Quiet town, quiet waterfalls, less drinking and more excercise.
