Day 67 -72/ 67. - 72 Den ( 10. - 15. 04 2008)

SABADEE PII MAI LAO ( Happy New Year Laos)

Not only we come here to pick up our Malaria tablets that my ( Romi's) friend Lucy was bringing to us, but we come to celebrate.... Laos New Year .... and it so happens to be on my ( Romi) birthday... how old.... well.... do I have to say... the 3...O.... but at heart 13... :O)....

The best day of all the celebrations was the 13th April.... the most watter got chucked on us, the streets were raving.... music, people dancing.... lots of corn flour... colourful paint.... building sand stupas... met Lucy and her friends on the street...more watter coming....drinking beer.... dancing on a car.... and I ( Romi ) got B'day cake for Mama, truly touched....

The days after there was still enough water and flour left, but not as crazy as the day before. There was a big parade on the main street and the day after the parade was going the opposite direction....

These 5 days were definitely worth it. All you need to see is the pictures....


SABADEE PII MAI LAO ( Stastny Novy Rok Laos)

Jediny duvod, proc jsme sem tak hnaly nebyl to, ze nam ma ( Romcina) kamoska Lucka dovezla malarka, ale prijely jsme oslavovat.... Laosky Novy Rok... a cirou nahodou, jsou to i me (Romci) narozeniny... jak stara.... musim to rict.... no 3 a O.. ale v srdci 13... :O)....

Nejlepsi den z celych oslav byl nedele 13teho.... nejvice jsme byly oblite... ulice zily... hudba, lidicky tancili... mouka.... barvicky.... staveli se Stupas... potkaly jsme Lucku... bacha vice vody... pilo se pivo.... tancovalo se na aute.... tady to zije tady je to uplna lentilkova fantazie jak ja, Renca rikam.......no a Ja Romca jsem dostala dort of Mamy, opravdu me to dojalo...

Dalsi dny bylo jeste dost vody a mouky, ale ne uz tak, jak den pred tim. Na hlavni ulici byl velky pruvod a druhy den sel opacnym smerem....

Techto 5 dni opravdu stalo za to. Jedine co je treba videt jsou fotecky...
