The 6 a.m. Monk Procession

At 6 a.m. the Novice Monks have a procession through the town where locals offer food to them, mainly being Sticky Rice and Chicken wrapped in leaves. It is quite a lovely sight to see these young men silently walking down the road and modestly taking the offerings of food.

Don't make the mistake that I did, believing there were only a few monks: there is a whole procession that eventually make it to the offering. Hilarious Claire!!
Hi Claire, its good to know you're having a good time harassing monks and drinking beer. One question though, how have you managed to time travel?? Is this a new skill you picked up after we left you at the perhinthians, as its still November here! Saw Tess last night who is slightly concerned that there is a picture of her sans maccolage on the web!! You need to publish this blog when you get home. Hilarious!! Keep it coming. Naomi xx
