Eating Mr. EdInteresting...I had to try it. But I can't say it's my favorite
This morning we had sushi for breakfast...yummy! We also tried some horse sushi...interesting. Kind of like really raw, oily beef. Chewy too. Then we headed to a street near Asakusa that is lined with kitchen tools, and restaurant supplies. They even had the fake food you see in the store windows! Those can get really really expensive, but it looks absolutely real! A fake bowl of ramen is about $100, and a fake hunk of beef can be upwards of $1500!!!
Then we started picking spots out of the guidebook: Shibuya, Harajuku, Ginza....mostly filled with department stores and restaurants. We walked almost 25000 steps again today and we were feeling it by the end of the day.
We went to the Sony Building, but it was rather disapointing. It was about 4 floors of TV's and Cameras...nothing really special, but now we can say we've been to the Sony building in Tokyo.
Fake sushiIncredibly real looking, and expensive as well!
FuguBlow fish! Haven't tried it yet, but we have yet to run across a restaurant that looks reputable enough to eat at.
Custard ManjusWe ran all over looking for these...the ones in Osaka still tasted better

You know, I think that's starting to catch on here - I just heard a new jingle on the radio yesterday - it went something like this...
A horse is a course, of course, of course,
And we can eat some horse of course
That is, of course, unless the course is the famous Mr. Ed.
Go right to the stable and then to the table
Have some gravy and wine with your Sable
It goes down smooth as long as you're able
Come eat Mr. Ed.
Horse steak is oily and tough but in Japan it is tops
But sometimes your steaks will have marks from the Jockey's riding crops
A horse is a course, of course, of course,
It's not something the West would endorse
You never heard of eating a horse?
Well listen to this.
Come eat Mister Ed.
