What have I been up to for the last month?

Well here it is, a month after I last updated and over 5 weeks since I arrived here! Some dedicated readers of this blog have been chomping at the bit for an update so I figured I had better get on it. My first attempt at calligraphy with Yuko's class.

Notice how I am doing something extremely simple. It is harder than it looks but the hardest thing about it was sitting on my legs like that for the better part of an hour and a half!

Yuko is much better at calligraphy than I am, that's for sure.

The sense just drew stars next to everything I did and didn't really give me any advice!

The Japanese are so polite about everything and will always tell foreigners that they are wonderful at speaking Japanese, using chopsticks, ~~~~~ insert just about anything here
