Day 80: Intense Test & Skit
Monday, June 1, 2009 6:30am: I woke up, took a shower, got ready, and studied for my Japanese grammer test for today.
8:00am: I left to go to school early, so I can print out my skit.
9:00am: I made it to Yotsuya and printed out my skits and an accounting firm map.
9:15am: Japanese class began with the test. I didn't know much of the words, so my studying went to waste. I knew the grammer but I didn't know the meaning of the words. So, I just went by gut feeling and from pure memory of what happened in my previous classes.
10:30am: I finished and practiced my skit with William, my partner this time. We didn't really practice last night, so my memorization of the lines were not very smooth.
11:00am: We all performed out skits and I took videos. We all got better. Then, we learned new kanji, 春、夏、秋、冬、暑い、熱い、寒い、冷える、暖かい、温まる、涼しい、天
12:30pm: We went to eat lunch at GL-Net. Candy met a friend from the picnic named Ikuto. He was really cool! I showed everyone what I learned in my "secret" note cards. :) And they

laughed. Ikuto was so kind too! Wow, so there ARE Japanese guys who carry your tray and stuff! The longer I stay in Japan, the better it's getting!
1:30pm: Candy, Stefan, Frank, Lars, and I went to do our homework at Building 2. We did our take-home kanji test together and finished the kanji homework. I also finished my grammer worksheet. Now I just have to worry about the review packet the teacher gave us for homework.
3:00pm: I walked to Okamoto & Company, an accounting firm, to see where it was. It is about 20 minutes away from campus on foot. I scheduled to have an interview with them tomorrow. I wore heels today to feel walking around in heels to the interview.
4:00pm: I headed home.
5:00pm: I made it home at Zoshiki. My feet hurted because of the heels. Then, I went to my room to write this blog.
7:00pm: For dinner, I ate yakisoba and ramen noodles. Then, I wactched some tv with Daiki about this girl lying about getting raped by a bunch of guys. Daiki was explaining the story to me. I actually can understand Manami and Daiki much better now. I can even respond better. :) I feel good!
8:00pm: I am in my room, finishing this blog. Then, I will shower, text people, and study.
VIDEOS: Hiromi & William Skit 3: Dialog 2 is about William making me wait 30 minutes and I was mad, so I wanted money. Candy & Martin Skit 3 John & Tegge?: John was yelling, "Just a little?! I waited 30 minutes!! It rained! I didn't have an umbrella!!" That's why we laughed. Stefan & Partner Skit 3 Frank & Guy-san Skit 3 PLUS: Stefan Making Poses at the camera Sam & Lars Skit 3 GL-NET, Candy Introduces me to her new Friend, Ikuto: This is also where I practice my Japanese. My Secret Note Cards: Only my friends know my secret note cards and it makes Japanese people laugh. New Kind Friend: I had to take a video because it's rare for me to be treated kindly. Ikuto offers and then carries my lunch tray down the 7 flights of stairs. Note: Times are approximate. I am writing postcards/letters, please send me your address if you want me to write to you.
