To say I love Disney is like saying the Pope's Catholic, so when I remembered the lesser known of the Disney parks was in Tokyo, Rupert realised it would be worth more than his life to refuse to go. Unfortunately, the day we chose, the heavens chose to open.
Getting there was fun, we'd almost mastered the subway system, but the further you get away from the centre the less English you find! In the end we resorted to following the mother with the child singing Mickey Mouse lol
As it was so rainy, we only saw 2 main characters in the main shopping hall, and despite my warnings Rupert still didn't understand th high pitched squeal that was coming from me, meant I'd spotted Pluto and he was to follow with the camera!
As it was near Christmas all the benches were decorated with models of the characters and the rides had been decorated. 'It's a small word' had been Christmasified and 'The Haunted mansion' had changed into 'the Nightmare before Christmas mansion'.
I was amazed to find the Buzz lightyear ride had a queue over 2 hours long and even though we'd arrived quite early,
the next fast pass was already for 7 PM!
Due to the weather the fireworks display in the evening had been cancelled, so we called it a day, when we were soaking through mid afternoon.
