I went to the Imperial Palace. It looks so medival and you can see how it could keep out attackers.
We also went to the Mori Tower. It is really tall and it had a really good observation deck at the top.
You could see all of Tokyo (which is a lot bigger than I expected!).
To get around Tokyo you use the underground subway system. It makes Melbourne's train line look like a set of toy trains compared to Tokyo's subway. I miss Melbourne's traffic. At one stage, bikes, cars, trucks and motorbikes where weaving about the street with no sense of direction. It was really caotic!
We also went to some really nice gardens. We saw massive fish in the pond there. The gardens have really nice trees called cherry blossom. When they bloom there flowers are a nice pink colour.
When we went to Ginza district all of the buildings lit up. There is traffic going four ways here. They let the traffic go and then when the walk sign comes on everyone walks in every direction. It was hectic!
I know this may sound weird but I really like
the vending machines here. Instead of just getting cold drinks you can get hot drinks too. It's really awesome!
