Last night I made such a big thing about going to see the Geisha girls to George that we liturally run in and out again from what we had been doing in the day (walking about 500miles lol) we went straight off and then when we got there we watched a short video of what the geisha girls where about and then we went through to watch the show it was so comfy and warm and the show was only about 15mins long but i kept nodding off and George had to keep nudging me to keep me awake, did I hear about it after lol! we then got back to Kyoto and we went round all the resturaunts to have something for dinner an no where excepted card and the only place we could get money from was the post offices so we ended up with a bottle of wine a pack of pringles and some feta cheese and went back to our room to play cards. We got up in the morning and went to the Imperial Palace and we were told the next tour was at 2 o clock which was our check in time in Osaka so we went to the Manga Museum which is shut on a Wednesday (typical!) so we went to catch the train to Osaka. Our train fare only cost us about 7 pounds for over an hours train drive which we played shit head (its a card game gran/nanna nothing bad the person with the most cards at the end is suppose to be a pooh head lol) We got to Osaka and at first I was that impressed as it reminded me a lot of London a bit dirty and everyone looks as if they've lived a bit of a hard life. The tube stop had a lift into our hotel which was very popular for buisness people but we didn't know this to start off so we came out of the tube station and asked a bus conductor (or whatever he was) he then phoned the hotel for us for directions and took us right to the front door! it was only a 5 min walk but thats what they're like over here extremly helpful!
We got to our hotel room it stunk like ciggerettes and we realised it was a smoking room the smell of stale smoke was ransid but George didn't even notice it was me the smoker who did but George was saying Im quite happy here lets not swap rooms where as I really wanted to! I went to sleep for a couple of hours whilst George had a soak in the bath and chilled out then he woke me to "grumpy lisa" where i didn't completly wake up for about an hour we then caught a train over to the Aquriam near Osaka and we got off the train and went on the Ferris Wheel (same size as the London eye) which I was so excited by then we got really high and George kept moving the cart saying #this is such a good photo" i started freaking out and had to sit in the middle of the cart and breathing slowly whilst George took all the picturesque moments lol It was amazing and we could see the whole of Osaka and a theme park which we were a bit dishartened we wouldn't we wouldn't be able to go to! We then went onto the aquriam where we saw some otto's that were cleanig themselves and where so cute and dolphones and whale sharks we couldnt believe half these animals where here and although we had such an amazing time and loved this experience we felt so bad for them having such a small inviroment. We got loads of great pics though which will soon be on here.
We left the aquriam and then went onto a yaki tori resturaunt which is rice and BBQ meat we had chicken pork potatoe pizza and two rice dishes (sounds like s lot but you only get a BBQ squewer with three tiny bits of meat on) George was most amazed that you could get sparkling milk at this place but we only had beer (which i suffered with the next day!)
George then decided that the breakfast buffet sounded like a good idea all you can eat for 1,300 yen which is about 10 pounds we could fill ourselves up for the whole day! so we had a type of western breakfast and then tried a typical Japanese breakfast which we were not fans off we then took two cups of take out green tea and filled a take away foam cup with green tea bags lol
We then went for a bit of a walk around Osaka and then caught the shinga su home which is the bullet train home, we sat down and were chillen for a bit when a ticket inspector came up and checked our tickets and informed us we were in the wrong carts and that these were only for reserverved so we had to walk from carriage 14 to no 3 (thinking the bullet train is going at 320mph) we felt pretty drunk walking all these carriages and poor George had the big rucksack on his back/ we hadnt actually had a drink by this time)
We got back to John and Minakos with a couple of drinks that we had bought at family mart and lisa got pretty drunk lol and then we had an early night to bed.
We woke the next day at 1pm and though we best get out as we had missed the best part of the dat we went to Shibuya were we looked around lots of shops for some proper trainers as George was feeling the pain from the 2.50 pound plimpsoles I had bought him from primark lol, but being George we went to about 10 different shoe/trainer shops and he wasn't impressed with any (although from all the clothes shops i could have bought about a million different outfits although i with strained myself!) We went back to JP and Minakos and got ready for our night out with JP and his mates. we met JP at the train station but when we arrived we had no idea where we were supposed to meet him so we asked a Japenese lady and instead of pointing us in the right direction she took us about 400 meters and showed us exactly where and then walked back to her friend.
We the went with JP to an authentic Japenese restraunt where we had to take our shoes of before entering. we put our shoes in lockers and then went to sit with his friends at a low table we let Minako do the ordering as when it comes to ordering food she's pretty good! We had a lovely meal and JP and Minakos friends are really nice an Australian guy, a Canadian and Miko from Japan we had food went onto the next place had more food and drink where Richard (the Canadian) taught me how the right way to use chop sticks is we went down the road where all the love hotels are which is where you can rent a room for an hour and it can be themed with spinning beds ect (they're all built for sex) but as me and George are waiting for marriage lol we decided to opt out! We had such a good time with JP and Minakos friends very lively and funny! We caught the train home where we realised just how drunk JP and Minako were as JP was falling asleep in the ailse of the train and was dancing after we got off the train (me and George did not feel drunk at all just because of the amount of food we had eaten!) as George would say say"eatings cheating" we got back and me and JP went straight to bed whilst George and Minako satyed up i saw pictures in the morning and faigley remember being woken up by George in a nacho Libre kinda mask (gimp mask looking thing) where i just said I'm trying to sleep George was dis-heartened by this as he had intended to scare me but knowing he's Jimmy's son I'm used to this. We woke again today at around 1pm (woops!) had a moss burger and then headed off for Akihabara where all the animate shops are, George loved this although I have to say certain levals of the shop where very rude (animate porn!) we walked around the town for a few hours and George looked at some more trainers but didn't buy then we made our way home where Minako made us some amazing dinner and we stayed in and had a few Gin and Tonics JP and George went to bed early and me and Minako stayed up. tomorrow JP and Minako are holding a small party for friends and me and George are going to go off once again lookkn for trainers (what's the bets he doesnt actually buy any Mr Fussy!) then on Monday were going to a market,
anyway speak soon lisa x x x
