에피소드 #2 2월 17일 후쿠오카에서 유후인으로 여행 둘째 날

센트랄 호텔에서 아침을 먹고 체크아웃하고 JR하카다역에서 유후인노 모리 1호(특급)를 타고 유후인으로 갔음. 유후인행 특급 열차에서의 차내 서비스가 정말 좋음. 승무원들이 친절하고 기념촬영 기회도 줌. 유후인으로 도착하여 스카보로 관광차를 타고 유후인을 둘러봄. 유후인역 주변의 사계절(식당)에서 점심으로 우동을 먹고 유후3호(디럭스)를 타고 오이타로 와서 다시 소닉 42호(고속열차)로 갈아타고 벳부역으로 와서 역 근처 시웨이브호텔에 체크인함. 벳부 스파 비치 공원을 걸음. 태평양을 봄. 저녁 식사는 고기 요리를 먹음. 다케가와라온천에서 온천욕을 즐김. 시웨이브호텔에서 2박(17일, 18일)을 함. 조용하면서 저렴하며 쾌적한 호텔임. 타게가와라 온천은 8년 전에도 100엔 지금도 100엔으로 사용료는 변함없음. 벳부에서 가장 역사가 오래되고 서민적인 온천임. 아쉽게도 8년 전에 여행 중인 일본 아가씨들과 함께 점심을 먹은 식당은 사라졌음.

Episode #2 Feb. 17th, Second day in Yufuin village and Beppu city.

we ate breakfast at the restaurant in Central hotel. and checked out. we moved to JR Hakata station by tube to got on the "Yufuin-no-mori(special express train)" for Yufuin village. this train was especially made and designed for Yufuin tour. and stewards and stewardess of this train are very kind. they gave us taking a picture for memorials.
according to Japanese tour guide book, many of Japanese women and ladies would like to visit here at all costs during their life time. I think that they would like to visit here to refresh their mind and body in a peaceful atmosphere and in a good natural scenery, Yufuin. there are many onsen(hot spring) in this village.
when we arrived Yufuin station, first of all, we loaded our luggages in the coin locker. It was snow in Yufuin. we booked tickets for Yufuin round trip by classic tour bus. we travelled Yufuin here and there by this bus. after this round trip, we ate japanese noodles(Udong) for lunch at the restaurant, “四季節” before Yufuin station. after lunch, we strode near Yufuin station to look over. we stopped by Yufuin elementary school. they were still on class. this village is very peaceful and calm. after this walking, we got on the "Yufu #3(deluxe train) for Oita station. It took about 40 minutes to arrive Oita station. at this station, we changed trains to get on the "sonic#42"(express train) to Beppu. this train is very fast as his nickname "sonic". It took 8 minutes to arrive Beppu station from Oita station. I could look a nice and beautiful sea-scape on my right side on my railway Beppu.
we checked in "Sea wave hotel", Beppu. and unpacked. we strode Beppu street. and went to Beppu beach park(Matogahama park) to look at the Beppu harbor connected to the Pacific. we strode Matogahama, Beppu.
we ate a grilled beef and pork as dinner at the restaurant, Chihara. It was very nice and joyful dinner time. after this dinner, we strode a shopping street in Beppu. we backed to "Sea wave hotel", we-I and my brother- went to Takegawara hot spring(onsen) to enjoy Japanese traditional hot spring. It is really good hot spring. this hot spring have a good quality hot spring water, a long history and popularity. 8years ago, when I visited here for the first time, the fare was 100yen. surprisingly, It is still 100yen. I think that the Beppu people regarded this onsen as "the unchangeable pride of Beppu." but to my regret, 8 years ago, the restaurant which I had a lunch together with Japanese ladies on travelling was disappeared.
we stayed 2 days in Sea wave hotel, Beppu. this hotel is very clean, tranquil and economical. and have free small onsen(sauna). I recommend this hotel to traveller for Beppu.
