Ringing In the New at Miyajidake, Fukuoka

My decade-long relationship with Japan has been eventful to say the least. One day she'll try to kill me off and the next day she'll thrill me with something beautiful. The unpredictability alone keeps me here, though there are as many reasons for me to stay as there are grains of rice in my morning chawan.
