Jamil's article. We've been in Japan for two weeks. I like Japan. I like the cherry blossom trees. Yesterday we went to a park. We brought so many things for nothing. For example, a soccer ball, chinese sticks, a swinging thing and a skateboard. Because we didn't play with any of that stuff and it was a 30 minute walk. Instead we played on the slide and the game was trying to get Samir off the twisty twirly slide.
What I like about Japan is the people are always very nice to you. It's CLEAN, the food is very nice and I learned how to use chopsticks. Futons are comfier than beds!
Today we went to a park and they had adventure courses. We went on the family course but mom and dad did not come. Everything was made out of rope and wood so it gave us lots of rope burns, The funniest one was you sat on a log and someone pushed you and you would swing ahead and hit three tires that pushed you back. The hardest thing was one like a bridge with seven rings connected to some ropes and you had to try to walk
across by sticking your feet into the rings. It was hard to get across without falling. After the course we all got dessert and I got a chocolate covered banana on a stick with sprinkles. Mmmm that was good!
Instead of an expensive hotel, we are staying with friends called Frances and Sarah. Sarah is our travel guide!
I learned a little Japanese. Arigato gozaimasu means thank you. Gomen nasai means sorry. Oyasumi nasai means good night. Daijobu means okay. Hai means yes. Ohaiyo gozaimasu means good morning. Tsukishima desu means this is Tsukishima station-we took the train to Tsukishima a lot because we stayed there. Good bye, see you in Indonesia!
