It's loud. As we were walking back last night we could hear music (a band?) from another building (the mosque). We can still hear it this morning. Drinking tea we hear most of the neighbours radio, the Nokia ringtone, roasters, power tools and it's not even nine am.

40 push-ups & 70 sit-ups - a habit I got out of and need to get back into.

Breakfast is just as loud; more cockerels, kids playing with toys and all we're missing is the ice-cream guy. Back for beach gear. Netta and I fall out, again. She wants me to stop being mean to stop pushing her away and I want her to show me why I should trust her. It's not until we've walked to the beach and are floating in the water that we finally reach an accord.

If you had asked me a year ago where I thought I would be today; floating in the ocean off of a tropical island beach with a bikini clad 24 year old Finnish girl asking me not to be be emotionally cold to her, probably wouldn't have been my answer.

More floating and chasing new and interesting animals to watch. Lots of starfish, some mating. Kai heads back first and we follow after finishing our chapters to give him time to shower. Wash, change, nap, dinner. Another change of clothes and head out for the night. Arak cocktails and another meal; Netta's indulges her nacho craving, Kai gets more pizza (his western food of choice) and I get a pancake.

There's meant to be a party at Space bar tonight. Kai can't drink so we walk him back to the GH and Netta and I set off. The dive instructor was lying about the quickest way to get there. The party involves loud music, expensive beer and not many people. We keep walking and do a loop of the island. It's a cheap night.
