Tanjung Puting is one of the natural wonders of the world. You are captivated completely by the purity of the air, the openness of the night sky with the most remarkable view of the Milky Way, the magnificence and dignity of the gentle orangutans, the thundering downpours that instantly cool the air, and the clarity of the brilliant crimson sunsets. The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park covers some 800 square kilometers in the centre of East Java. It is the largest volcanic region in the province and there stands Mt. Semeru, which rises 3676 meters above sea level. At its northern end is the spectacular Tengger Caldera, Java's largest, with its 10 km barren desert-like sea of sand. Within the caldera rise the deeply fissured volcanic cones of Batok and Bromo, the latter is still active with a cavernous crater from which smoke blows skyward. Temperatures at the top of mount Bromo range about 5 to 18 degrees Celcius . To the south is a rolling upland plateau dissected by valleys and dotted with several small scenic lakes, extending to the foot of Mount Semeru, a towering grey forest-skirted cone dominating the southern landscape

Tour Itinerary:

Day 01 : Pangkalan Bun - National Park - Boat/Rimba Lodge
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up by our guide signing JavaBush or written your name on it and directly heading to Kumai by a private car. Boating up the river to explore the great mangrove, nipah palm and wildlife along the Sekonyer river, lunch will be prepared on the boat. Late afternoon available observe the proboscis monkey and others primates along the river. Dinner and overnight on the boat or in Rimba Lodge near the river. (The boat is traditional boat wooden river boat about 14m by 2,5m with a roof where you can see the rain forest). JavaBush team includes the boatmen, cookery, fluency English and French speaking guide. On the boat, we have simple mattress, pillow, mosquito net, meals, fresh mineral water refreshment, kitchen, toilet, helpful guides and boatmen.

Day 2 : Boat / Rimba Lodge - Pondok Tanggui - Camp Leakey
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river about 2 hours boating to Camp Leakey where the older orangutan are reintroduced into the rain forest. En route stop at Pondok Tangguy, the center of new exceptive orangutans rehabilitation, witness feeding time at 09.00am. Then proceed to Camp Leakey. After lunch on the boat you will have opportunity to take small trek or see information center before see feeding time at 14.00pm for old rehabilitation orangutan given additional foods. On the way down you might seen fireflies along the nipah palm (depend to the moon and weather permitted), overnights on the boat or in Rimba Lodge near the river.

Day 3 : Boat / Rimba Lodge - Pangkalan Bun Airport - Semarang - Borobudur Temple
After breakfast boating down to Kumai and transfer by car to Pangkalan Bun Airport to catch a flight to Semarang.
Meet with our tour guide, English and Deutsch speaking guide at Semarang air port signing JavaBush or written your name on it. Check-in the Hotel (Ibis hotel) continued to visiting Borobudur that is beautiful ancient capital with an old history and culture is, as the gateway to the two national archeological parks, Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple, Indonesia's third most prominent tourist city beside Bali and Jakarta. Back to hotel and take recess overnight.

Day 4 : Semarang - Bromo
After breakfast then we start to take long journey to Mt. Bromo, it takes about 7-8 hours drive en routing rural settlement with green coloring of paddy field along the way will make your eyes fresh, stop for picture taking will be an option subject to your interest. We will arrive in Bromo at late afternoon or early eve. Check in the hotel located at the last village, which it is directly facing to smokes Bromo crater.

Day 5 : Bromo - Ijen
Wake up at very early morning, making short preparation for Sun Rise tour, and then the private jeep 4x4WD will drive you up to Penanjakan Mountain 2774 asl as the highest place to see the Sun Rise and amazing view of mountain range. You may become live witnesses how amazing Bromo view that spread in your naked eyes, the sun with pink color ray with gold-yellow silhouette drift on slowly from east horizon. It will grab you in to the different atmosphere and unforgettable moment that you never imagine before. After that, proceeding drive back to Bromo crater to witness the crater from closed. Back to the hotel for breakfast, short back packing and heading to Ijen volcano in Bondowoso. Around 5 hours drive en routing flat and hilly curves road, stop for picture taking would be an option subject to your interest. Check-in the Catimor hotel and stay overnight.

Day 6 : Ijen - Bali - End of Tour
Early in the morning, well before sunrise, we drive a short way to the start of the trail that leads up to the active, beautiful crater of Kawah Ijen volcano (about 1 hr climbing) with its famous blue acid lake (the most acidic in the world!) and the hot, partly liquid sulphur deposits.
The fumaroles are so hot that sulphur comes out as green vapour. The vapour is collected by large pipes, through which the vapor condenses, and at the exit you see red rivulets of liquid sulphur, which then freeze to solid deposits. These deposits are quarried, in order to obtain huge blocks of pure sulphur. Ijen's sulphur deposits are infamous for the local workers who quarry the sulphur with primitive, health-devastating methods, that’s an incredibly difficult job.
Gas-masks are provided for your visit to the crater. After plenty of exploration time, we leave the Ijen Plateau transfer to Bali to drop you off at your certain hotel / airport.
