This heavenly white and light blue crater lake located in Ciwidey, Bandung, West Java. Apparently Indonesia has a good way to hide load amount of heavens. Almost every piece of heaven are tainted with strong folks story including this one. The story behind White Crater is Patuha Mountain (where White Crater Lake is located) once considered as a haunted mountain, that was why no one ever known about the beauty of this lake. This actual lake was found by a Germany scientist namely Dr. Franz Wihelm Junghuhn. At that time, local society believe that the lake was haunted since every creature that through in that lake would be dead. Fortunately, Dr. Franz Wihelm did not trust that myth, he researched about the lake and found that the lake indeed contains quite amount of sulfur. That was why no creature could bear the negative effect for the sulfur for their body system.
Nah, that point changed local thoughts about White Crater (Kawah Putih in Indonesian) as a haunted place. Now the government has opened a way to reach the lake easier. But remember, if you want to visit this lake you only 15 minutes or 20 minutes top, the sulfur indeed has
