Short 1h+ bemo/ shuttle from Kuta to Ubud, supposedly the artistic and cultural capital of Bali. Stayed at Sadru Homestay along Monkey Forest Rd, only IDR80k a night (!).

Blanco Museum
Former home of the late Antonio Blanco, the so-called "Dali of Bali". Unfortunately no photography allowed inside the gallery, but I assure you there were plenty of stylised, expressionistic pieces of his favourite subject -- topless Balinese women.

Blanco Studio
I was allowed to photograph this room, apparently preserved to show what the genius's working studio looked like.

Art Zoo
One of the many, many art galleries in Ubud.

Naughty Nuri's
Right across the street from the Neka Art Museum. Apparently an extremely popular expatriate hang-out, complete with Aussie/ Texas-style outdoor BBQ.
