Hey hey
finally news from my site... it took me some time to get to the internet as there is muuuch going on here.
After staying 2 days in Ubud (we've been to the Monkey Forest... it's really a forest full of monkeys... GREAT) we drove on to Lovina, which is in the north of the island. We passed the famous volcano Batur and had some tea while looking at it.. awesome view!
In Lovina we stayed at the same hotel that we've been to 10years ago... and they really improved. On our second day over there we've been to the northwest of the island and a real dream beach just for ourselves... but it was way too hot to lie there for hours..
the next morning we joined the sunrise-dolphin-watching... we saw about 1 million dolphins *haha*.. not that much, but really.. MANY MANY DOLPHINS!! I made some great pictures and videos, we've been sooo close to them and they all jumped... the funniest thing about it: at some other point there have been about 20 boats that watched the dolphins.. I don't know if they enjoyed that... at our place there have only been 8 boats and I think the dolphin had lots of fun to swim around our boats.
In the afternoon we visited the place around the Gitgit Waterfall and I just stepped into the very very cold water.. but it's been kind of refreshing =)
The next day we drove on to Sanur where we stay right now until Thursday. We also drove back to Kuta to return the car and we felt like Leonardo DiCaprio in the beach, at the scene where he comes back to the city after being on a lonely island for month... IT'S BEEN SOOOO NOISY!!!
The hotel we stay at right now is awesome, but the food isn't delicious at all (also it's very expensive), so last night it just took as a few steps on the beach to get to a nice little restaurant directly to the beachsite... and there have been some guys playing the guitars and singing old classic songs... THAT'S HOLIDAY!!! =)
Well... today me & my mom look like lobsters... I think we just lay down in the sun a 'little' tooo much *hihi* Maybe it will turn into brown soon... would be good ;p
Corinna: I'm not able to answer your message directly, but we're still doing good. How is Sina today?? Shout out nice greetings from us to Tanis and the girls.
Hanol: Deine Comments waren deshalb nicht zu lesen weil ich die irgendwie erst freischalten muss... doofe Sache aber ich habs gemacht *g*
On Thursday we will fly to Bangkok and I will switch the Sim-Card again to my German one (there's no use to buy one in Thailand for only 4 days) so I can read your sms daily... right now I just switch the sim-card only few times a week. ;)
Right now we're going to do some shopping and have nice diner. I'm sending a little bit of the sun and heat to Germany ;)
Hugs to all
Miri
