Gitgit Waterfall
From Lovina went on to see a waterfall, but as walking up dry river bed towards it, thought why the hell are we going? Went on for the climb up Mount Bratan. Stopped roadside to have a mango but realized ours were not ripe yet. So this old guy from across road ran across and gave us a fresh one. Delicious. They then proceeded to give us 4 more. All free, would not take any money from us, and did not speak a word of english. Kept on to Gitgit Waterfall. About 30 m drop in lush gorge. Very pleasant as really no one else there. The whole walkway there was a giant tourist market though. Mostly trying to sell us spices. This was weird because Indonesian food is very bland! Why don't they use it! Here it is! At top of Bratan, had a roadside soup called Bakso. This was spicy however and I will have to eat my words from before. Great spicy noodle soup.

Oh and drove by some huge (what would be 5 star) resort hotel, like massif balconies overlooking valley, but totally abandoned! I'm talking "The Shining" creepy here!! Did not get a pic unfortunately

Having a Mango roadside
as baffled by the site of this place. There were actually creepy vines growing over roadway there and the big iron gate!??? Would love to know this story?? Still looking into it!

Ubud is a great place for crafts and cultural shows. Bought a few things then went to Longong Show. Cool for 15 minutes then kinda boring! Played with camera a lot! Oh did buy coolest travel hammock ever! Had to go back to Padang Bai to drop off bike. Had a Mahi Mahi, then got taxi truck back to Kuta beach.
Kuta is Kuta! Decided on night out, so we started with beers on beach, then live music bar, then club called the Bounty. The Bounty is a giant ship and you dance on the deck of it! Pretty cool. We even drank the fruity fishbowls all night! Did a cage dance for Derrick as it was the same one he danced in on his birthday when we were here 2 years ago. I luckily did not cut my head open like he did!

Found this great roadside seafood place right on the beach road with great seafood. Ate there last 2 nights as enjoyed it so much. Tried basically everything they had. The lady just loved me.
