Moving On

Phew!!! We did it. Survived ten and a half weeks in India and came out with no Delhi Belly and relatively unscathed. The travelling scars are quickly fading and we have huge smiles on our faces after arriving back in Thailand and getting Thai curries again. We've been dreaming about them for the last month or so. Ahhh.....I finally reached the beach and oh, so nice. On the flight from Delhi to Goa, I met up with some Israelis girls (go figure) who told me I should go to Arambol beach in the north. I took the overnight bus from Udaipur with two girls (they chose to go with a twin sleeper and I got the first regular seat). After spending so much time in smaller cities, it was a bit of a shock getting to Delhi. We immediately went to the Main Bazaar area to secure a hotel (Palace Hotel...but I end up switching the next day to the My Hotel which is down the street). Us guys are staying with Ps Phillip, while Eli is staying at the YWAM Bhopal base with Navin, Sukmati, Maltilda, and Mahima(bub, who is so scared of me, its been a week now and still I can make her cry, its a gift!!!) Murray’s Grandparents (McKenzies) were missionaries in India, and this is where his mother was born. This trip is with Murray’s Uncle Peter and family to see places that are important in the McKenzie Family history. DELHI. We arrive in Delhi late Saturday night, and manage to get through the airport without too much trouble. At the exit we are assigned an official taxi number by the authorities. Have managed to find an Internet connection at last - seems like ages since I last wrote in Udaipur. I'm in a very basic Internet cafe in Agra, home of the Taj Mahal.
