Do you ever stop and think to yourself Is this my life? Is this really my life? because it's friggin amazing!!!This thought crosses my mind about 5 times a day since I've been here. I can not express to you enough how incredible . . .
Rajasthan is my favorite so far. The drive here was perfect, lots of things to look at. Definitely desert and damn it's HOT. I love hanging out with our Indian cousins and our driver. I don't remember if I said this before but they're 3 guys in their 20's and we all get on quite well. We blast Jazzy B and other Punjabi music and sing and laugh, it's a great time. I make our driver stop about a hundred times so I can snap a picture of this or that. This drive I saw a lot of shepherds with cattle, buffalo, sheep and goats walking through the villages. It's difficult for me to describe all the things I see, everything is so captivating, I really need to figure out how to attach the pictures. The best thing ever though, we're driving, I'm in a trace staring out the window per usual and then I saw them, I'd have to guess about 50 or more CAMELS! just walking around the hills eating the trees. They're huge!! If I'm 6 feet tall then they are at least 9 or 10 feet from toe to the top of their head. They're like modern day dinosaurs. After that herd of free range camels we started seeing a lot of them pulling carts and attached to plows in fields. There's elephants everywhere too but my prefered mode of transportation is most definitely a camel.
Today we went to the Amber fort and then to the kings palace. Jaipur has a king and his palace is gorgeous!! Saw some other white people for the first time in a long time, tourists, I hate tourists. Did some of the best shopping of my entire vacation but I still haven't found the perfect tunic. I did however find the sweetest perfume in the universe! Men of the world watch out, you are powerless against me in my new India perfume. Lightning struck a building next to us today and Suki told me that God liked my perfume and was thinking about taking me to heaven because of it. Yea it's that good. Ha ha!!
Everyday is better then the one before. I don't want to come home. Does anyone want to sponsor me? (Dad? hint, hint!!) There was a sign in sanskrit for a night watchman job. I asked the owner if he would consider hiring me, he laughed hard and said if he did hire me he would need to hire a second watchman to watch me. Sometimes I think I'm going to cry because I feel so wonderful, I have to stop, breathe and get control of my eyes or it'll happen. I'm the happiest I've ever been.
PS- Lend me some adjectives! I should've packed a thesaurus. I need some other words for amazing and beautiful.
